Thank you for shopping with LazyKart.in. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, dispatch, and deliver your orders. We strive to ensure every purchase reaches you safely, quickly, and transparently.

1. Dispatch Timelines

  • All confirmed orders are usually processed within 1–3 business days after successful payment verification.
  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next working day.
  • Pre-order or made-to-order products may require additional preparation time; such exceptions are always mentioned on the product page.

2. Delivery Timeframe

  • Typical delivery within 3–7 business days from dispatch, depending on your location and courier service availability.
  • Metro cities: 3–5 days | Tier-2 & Tier-3 cities: 5–8 days | Remote locations: up to 10–12 days.
  • Unforeseen delays due to weather, strikes, or logistical issues may extend timelines. We appreciate your understanding.

3. Shipping Partners

We work with reliable courier and logistics partners such as Delhivery, BlueDart, DTDC, XpressBees, and India Post to ensure nationwide delivery coverage. All partners are vetted for timely service, shipment tracking, and safe handling of parcels.

4. Shipping Charges

  • We offer Free Shipping on all prepaid orders above ₹499 (inclusive of taxes) within India.
  • Orders below ₹499 or special heavy items may attract a nominal shipping charge as displayed at checkout.
  • Cash-on-Delivery (COD) orders may include a small COD handling fee visible during checkout.

5. Packaging & Handling

  • Every item is carefully packed with protective materials to minimize transit damage.
  • We use tamper-evident packaging for additional safety and to ensure your products reach in perfect condition.

6. Tracking Your Order

  • Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email and/or SMS with your courier name and tracking number.
  • You can track your shipment anytime using the tracking link provided or by visiting our tracking page at track.lazykart.in (if applicable).
  • If your tracking status hasn’t updated for over 48 hours, please reach out to our support team for assistance.

7. Delivery Attempt & Failed Deliveries

  • The courier will attempt delivery up to two times. If the recipient is unavailable, the parcel may be marked as “RTO – Returned to Origin”.
  • If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, unavailability, or refusal to accept, re-shipping may require an additional delivery fee.
  • In case of prepaid orders, refunds for RTO shipments will be processed after deducting actual courier charges.

8. Change of Shipping Address

Address change requests are accepted only before dispatch. Once an order has been shipped, we are unable to modify delivery details. Please double-check your address and contact information before confirming payment.

9. International Shipping

Currently, LazyKart.in ships only within India. We do not support international deliveries at this time. Any attempt to place an order with a non-Indian address will be automatically cancelled and refunded (if charged).

10. Delays Beyond Our Control

While we make every effort to ensure timely deliveries, certain situations may cause unavoidable delays, including but not limited to:

  • Courier operational delays or strikes
  • Weather or natural calamities
  • Regional lockdowns or government restrictions
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses

We will proactively inform customers if any such event significantly affects delivery timelines.

11. Damaged or Lost Parcels

  • If you receive a parcel that appears tampered or damaged, please do not accept delivery. Notify us immediately.
  • In case of lost shipments or damage during transit, we will coordinate with our courier partner to investigate and issue a replacement or refund as per policy.
  • For investigation, please email us at support@lazykart.in within 48 hours of the expected delivery date.

12. Order Splitting

To ensure faster delivery, large or multi-item orders may be shipped in separate parcels. Each parcel will have its own tracking number, and you will receive updates for all.

13. Prepaid vs COD Orders

  • Prepaid Orders: Processed on priority and eligible for free shipping as per above threshold.
  • COD Orders: Verified via SMS/WhatsApp or phone before dispatch to prevent fraudulent transactions. Unverified COD orders may be cancelled automatically.

14. Customer Responsibility

  • Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address during working hours.
  • Provide a valid contact number and email ID so the courier can reach you if needed.
